Come join us on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11 a.m. at McPherson Park in Greenville for our annual Greenville Spartans picnic!
The picnic and cookout will begin at 11 a.m. and go until 3 p.m. To offset costs of the event, we are asking for a $10 donation to the Greenville MSU alumni chapter (Greenville Spartans), while kids 13-years and younger can enter for free. Please RSVP to greenvillespartans@gmail.com by Noon on Friday, May 3 with how many people you plan on attending with so we can get an accurate headcount.
The Greenville Spartans have teamed up with Little Pigs BBQ & Catering (Located at 522 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC). Food provided at the event includes pork, potatoes, Cole slaw, chips, and lemonade. We will also provide water and soda – wine and liquor will NOT be provided by the alumni chapter at the event.
If you have a dish you want to bring to pass, please do! We also encourage attendees to bring lawn chairs and any lawn games they may want to play. We will already have corn hole, playing cards, and of course, the McPherson Park putt-putt course will be open as well.
